Lightroom Classic plugin

Direct upload from Lightroom Classic into a Pictage workspace. Export keepers straight to a shoot (or the workspace inbox) over the public API. This is the path behind the pricing table's Direct upload claim.

Beta · developer preview

Availability

• Status: Beta developer preview. Not listed on Adobe Exchange.
• Runtime gate: workspaces may also need the beta_lightroom_export flag for related export surfaces. The Lua plugin itself talks to the public API with your token.
• Download: copy the plugin from the repository (no separate installer package yet). Source of truth: clients/lightroom-plugin/pictage.lrplugin.

Requirements

• Lightroom Classic 13+ (LrSdkVersion 13). Older Classic 6+ may load with reduced functionality.
• A Pictage API token from Settings → API tokens. Prefer a workspace-scoped token.

Install

1. Download or clone pictage.lrplugin.
2. Copy the folder to:
   • macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom/Modules/
   • Windows: %APPDATA%\Adobe\Lightroom\Modules\
3. Start Lightroom Classic and open File → Plug-in Manager.
4. Select Pictage, paste your API token, and press Test token.

Direct upload behavior

File → Export → Export To = Pictage. The dialog loads workspaces and shoots from the v1 API. Export opens a resumable multipart upload session (/api/v1/upload-sessions/*), sends per-part SHA-256 checksums, and falls back to the legacy single-shot photo path if multipart is unavailable (503). Interrupted exports resume against the same workspace + shoot.

Authentication

Bearer PAT only. Header shape matches the public API: Authorization: Bearer pk_live_.... Manage tokens in the dashboard; rotate if a laptop is shared.
