No. We are a new platform built by Pictage.ai Inc. The legacy Pictage business shut down in 2017; we license the dormant brand and rebuilt the product from scratch for 2026.
No, we never use your photos to train AI models. When you enable an AI feature, we send the minimum needed (downscaled images and metadata, never full-resolution originals) to providers like Anthropic, Google, or OpenAI under no-training commercial terms. Those providers may retain the inputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring before deleting them; we do not operate them under zero-retention. Yes. Drop in a CSV export from either, or connect the API where one is available. We map clients, shoots, and gallery shells into your Pictage workspace. Photos are re-uploaded through the standard flow.
Every workspace gets 50 free AI credits per cycle. Paid AI Studio plans add a monthly credit pool. When the pool is empty, new jobs are refused until the next cycle or an upgrade. Metered per-credit overage is not billed yet. Real-provider spend shows on /dashboard/workspaces/[id]/usage.
No. Send a portal link. The client opens the gallery with a signed cookie and does not create a Pictage account. Password-only links are disabled.
Use any lab. We support WHCC, Bay Photo, Miller's, Mpix Pro, ProDPI, and Nations for prints, plus album publishers like Madera and KISS, all via a unified take-rate. Your existing partner can plug in if they have an API or accept email orders.
Yes. Cancel from /dashboard/settings/billing; access continues until the end of the billing cycle. Your galleries stay live; AI workflows and uploads pause.
Yes. 20% of every referred subscription for 12 months, paid via Stripe Connect. Code lives at /dashboard/settings/referrals.
