Gallery music and pacing

How to think about a wedding gallery the way a music supervisor thinks about a film.

Updated 2026-05-13

Open soft, then build

A gallery is a movement. Open with a quiet detail, getting-ready hands holding a ring, before the first portrait. Earn the hero shot.

Breaths between energy

After a high-energy dance-floor sequence, three quiet frames. After the ceremony, an empty-chairs frame. Without breaths, the viewer fatigues by photo 30.

End on a still

The last frame is the one the couple remembers. Pick something still and tender. A hand. A back. Twilight on the venue.
