Sell physical prints from your gallery
Connect WHCC, set markup, enable on a gallery. Lab prints + ships; you keep 85% (Pro) or 90% (Studio).
The print storefront lets your clients buy physical prints, canvas, metal, acrylic, and albums directly from their gallery. WHCC prints + ships. You set the markup. Pictage takes 15% on Pro or 10% on Studio (covers Stripe + ops). You keep the rest.
Available on Pro ($149/mo) and Studio ($399/mo). Free + Starter don't have the storefront.
Step 1: Connect WHCC
Apply for a WHCC integration partner key at whcc.com/integrate. Once approved, paste the API key + your studio account id into /dashboard/settings/labs. We encrypt the key at rest with AES-256-GCM. Set your default markup percentage on the same page (200% is a common anchor, 2x wholesale).
Step 2: Per-SKU pricing (optional)
Default markup applies to every SKU. To charge different markups by category (lower on small prints, higher on canvas + wall art), click "Per-SKU pricing" on the lab card. You can also hide individual SKUs you don't want to sell.
Step 3: Enable on a gallery
Open the gallery editor and turn on "Print sales". Your client sees an "Order prints" button on the gallery header and a per-photo "Order prints" link in the lightbox. Both deep-link to /g/<id>/prints with the right photo pre-selected.
Step 4: Stripe Connect for payouts
We hold the client's payment in our Stripe account. To get paid out automatically, connect your own Stripe account at /dashboard/settings/payouts. Once an order is delivered, Stripe Connect transfers your 85% (Pro) or 90% (Studio) to your bank. If you forget to connect, payouts pile up in pending status; a cron retries every 30 minutes once you finish onboarding.
Step 5: Watch the dashboard
/dashboard/sales shows lifetime gross + net, the last 30 / 90 days, pending payouts, and the order roster with tracking links. Each order also has a stateless tracking link at /o/<token> that goes in the client's confirmation email; clients track without an account.
Refunds
Issue a refund from /admin/orders (owner-only). One click does the Stripe refund + reverses the Stripe Connect transfer + emails the client. Use sparingly; refunds eat into the platform fee.
Color complaints
If a client says the print looks off, contact WHCC support first (they're the lab; they own color quality). Most reprints are free or heavily discounted. For one-off goodwill replacements, manually duplicate the order via WHCC's portal and absorb the cost; the platform fee covers occasional reprints at typical complaint rates (~3-5%).
